DeviceSource Pro — Help & FAQs← Back to my dashboard

How can we help?

Answers to the most common questions. Ask Neuron on any dashboard for anything not covered here.

Accounts & access

How do I join with an invite code?
Your supplier sends you a short code (for example DSP2026A). Enter it at sign-up, or later from Settings. The code adds that supplier's product line to your account. You can hold several codes at once — My Products then groups your lines by supplier.
I'm a rep with no invite code yet. What can I use?
Messages, Contacts, FDA Recalls, Help and Neuron stay live. Product-dependent tools (Device Search, Leads, Route, and so on) show a lock until you redeem a code — nothing is hidden, it unlocks the moment a code is added.
I'm changing employers. Do I lose my account?
No. Your account, contacts, saved chats and history stay with you. Your old supplier deactivates you on their roster, your new one adds you — two toggles, and your product line updates automatically.
Why can't I see prices?
Pricing is controlled by each supplier. If a supplier has not turned pricing on, their prices are hidden for everyone — that is a policy enforced in the database, not a bug.

Profile & settings

How do I change my profile picture, name or department?
Open the profile menu (top right) → Settings. You can upload a photo or take one with your camera, edit your name, department, specialty, phones, and your Materials Management contact. Click Save settings when done.
What does the "+" next to some fields mean?
You can add more than one — extra specialties, office phones with extensions, cell phones, MM contacts, emails and calendars. Click the + button to add another line, and × to remove one.
How do I switch between dark and light theme?
Profile menu → Theme. Your choice is remembered on this device.

Searching & products

How do I search for a device?
Use the search box at the top of your dashboard. Type a product name, procedure, CPT/HCPCS code, manufacturer, part number or specialty — or use voice and picture search. Results open directly under the search box, above Recently Viewed.
What are Favorites, Following and Trending?
The heart saves a device to your Favorites shortlist. Follow gets you inventory, price and recall updates for a device. Trending shows what providers across the platform are viewing most.
Why don't I see stock quantities?
DeviceSource Pro shows availability as a simple yes/no set by the supplier — never quantities. The app is informational: no procurement, no transactions, no patient information.

Requests & messaging

How do urgent requests work?
A provider submits an urgent device request; it routes to the assigned rep (or the supplier if no rep covers the account). The siren icon in the top bar counts open requests — click it to review, acknowledge and track them to delivery.
Who can see my likes and follows?
You, and the rep who covers that product line. Counts are visible to everyone; names are not.

Neuron

What can Neuron do?
Ask anything — device lookups, CPT codes, weather on your route, drafting a message, or general questions. Neuron can also open an Inbox agent or a Document agent to work through tasks while you watch its progress.
Can I send Neuron files or tell it how I feel?
Yes. In the chat, use the paperclip to attach documents, images, folders or a zip file, and the emoji button to add how you're feeling — Neuron reads both and responds accordingly.
How do I customize Neuron's look?
Open Neuron's break room and use the ☰ menu to pick outfit, pose, movement, wig, hat and lips. The menu stays open until you've made your picks; options not included in your plan appear grayed out.

Data & downloads

Can I export products?
Yes — in the Centralized Product Catalog, tick the products you want (or Select all) and download as CSV, Excel, or PDF/Print. Bulk upload accepts CSV and Excel spreadsheets.
Is my data safe?
Access is enforced at the database level with row-level security: suppliers can only edit their own products, reps only see their own lines, and hidden pricing can't be read by any page or API call.
